Kathy Ford Montgomery, FASID is the Owner of the consulting
firm, Designing For Wellness. After more than 30 years in the practice of
interior design for corporate office and healthcare facilities, Kathy has
dedicated her firm to assisting clients in understanding the impact of
design on wellness. Both in the workplace, and in residential
environments, wellness is a current concern for everyone.
A past national president of ASID, Kathy has worked in the field of economic development, and has extensive firm and business management experience. She is a recognized guest speaker and lecturer. Her experience as a university educator and as a trainer for ASID has given her a keen ability to engage an audience and her enthusiasm is contagious. She has taught for the Art Institute of Colorado, and will be teaching at Colorado State University beginning in the fall of this year.
Currently completing her masters degree in environmental design, her research and study is in the area of design and that relationship to wellness outcomes. In addition to her consulting business, Kathy is the Director of Development and an instructor for education-works,inc a professional development seminar group. education-works,inc. develops, and teaches continuing education seminars for design professionals and custom training programs for large firms and industry companies.
