This course will bring greater awareness to the design professional relative to the Americans with Disability Act standards for accessible communications. Course material centers around the use of communication systems that involve two or three of the senses: sight, sound and touch. Areas discussed will be alarms, detectable warning systems, assistive listening systems, telephones and signage.
